Ceramic Walt Disney Pinocchio figural music box made by Schmid. Read this next part carefully. One arm is broken off and missing at the shoulder. The break is clean and open, showing the white unglazed ceramic and the hollow inside of the body, and the missing arm is not included in this lot. The remaining arm is intact with its white glove hand. Seated with knees up in a yellow hat with a blue band and red feather, a large blue bow tie, yellow shirt, red shorts with black and gold trim, and rust colored shoes, with black hair and blue eyes. He measures roughly eight inches tall as seated. The wood base plate carries the wind key, the on and off stopper, and maker information showing it was made in Sri Lanka for Schmid under Walt Disney license. The movement plays When You Wish Upon A Star. The music box has not been tested. Aside from the missing arm the glaze is bright and the paint is clean with no crazing or chips noted. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $10 to $20 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
