Vintage Brass Ornate Leaf Candle Drip Tray

Updated August 27, 2026

Vintage handheld chamberstick candle holder featuring an ornate floral leaf design. The shallow drip tray is formed from overlapping sculpted leaves or flower petals with raised buds, and the side has an integrated loop handle. A decorative flower/leaf collar surrounds the central stem beneath a rounded candle socket. This piece appears to be solid cast brass based on the golden coloration, exposed surfaces, natural darkened oxidation and substantial weight of 12-ounces. The underside includes a separate silver metal fastener component. Dimensions are approximately 3"h x 5"w x 3 1/2"d. Fair condition due to substantial age-related wear. The brass-colored surface has uneven tarnish, dark oxidation, discoloration, spotting, scratches, scuffs and areas of finish wear. There is greenish oxidation around portions of the candle socket. Considerable old candle wax residue is present, including red/pink wax inside the socket and hardened white wax on the tray and floral details. There is also dark residue or soot inside the candle cup. Some small nicks and surface irregularities are visible, but the main cast body and handle appear intact.
