Pair of Vintage Timberline Wood Wall Sconces

Pair of vintage Timberline wood wall-mounted candle sconces featuring tall oval backplates with rounded beveled edges. Each sconce has a projecting lower shelf with a rounded front and a turned wooden socket designed to hold a taper candle or sconce. The simple natural-wood design has a rustic, traditional appearance. Rear surfaces have recessed/keyhole-style hanging points for wall mounting. Made of solid wood, likely a softwood such as pine, with visible straight grain. Medium warm honey reddish-brown stained with a clear-finished surface. Sockets shelf components are also wood. Dimensions are approximately 10"h x 5½"w x 5"d. Good pre-owned condition with age and use wear. Both sconces show scattered scratches, scuffs, small nicks, dark specks/marks, finish wear and areas of discoloration. There is visible dust and wax-like residue around the candle-holder wells and some wear to the candle sockets. The backs show unfinished and rough wood surfaces, scratches, staining and mounting marks consistent with prior wall display. One retains a Timberline, Inc., Hagerstown, MD / Made in U.S.A. label. No obvious major cracks or missing structural components. Overall, the pair displays well with an aged rustic appearance.
