This collection features various NHL-themed trading card products and team memorabilia from the 1997-98 season. Included are seven metal Pinnacle Inside hockey card cans featuring full-colour graphics of players including Brendan Shanahan, Paul Kariya, and Pavel Bure, alongside a John Vanbiesbrouck goalie mask design. The cans are marked as containing either 10 or 12 cards. Also included are two rectangular Donruss Preferred Medal Contenders metal tins, one featuring Jaromir Jagr and Paul Kariya, and the other featuring Brendan Shanahan and Eric Lindros. Each tin specifies a content of five trading cards. The lot is completed by two Toronto Maple Leafs branded items: a Lucky Leafs Lure fishing spinner manufactured by Lucky Strike Bait Works Ltd. of Peterborough, Ontario, and a pack of 45-inch FanGear hockey skate laces in team blue. Dimensions: Pinnacle can height approx. 10 cm; Donruss tin height approx. 5 cm; total height of stacked cans approx. 20 cm (measured against a ruler showing inches). Condition: The items are in mixed condition with several retaining original factory packaging. Five of the Pinnacle cans remain sealed, while two are open, one of which is empty. Of the two Donruss Preferred tins, one remains factory-sealed in original plastic film and one is opened. The metal surfaces of the cans and tins show minor shelf wear, light surface scratches, and small occasional dents. The Toronto Maple Leafs lure and laces are both in their original blister packs, which show light toning and minor edge wear to the card backings. Original retail price stickers are present on some items.
