A pair of vintage boat oars crafted from wood with a weathered orange-toned finish. These oars feature tapered hand-grips and long, narrow blades. Each shaft is fitted with a pivoting metal rowlock pin. The items display characteristic signs of functional use with visible wood grain and a worn surface. Dimensions: Length approx. 213 cm (84 inches), measured against a visible tape measure showing inches only. Condition: The oars show significant signs of age and utility. The finish is worn and weathered throughout, with numerous scratches and scuffs. Prominent longitudinal cracks are visible in the timber, particularly along the blades. The blade tips exhibit fraying and loss of finish. The metal hardware is heavily oxidised with pervasive surface rust.
