Mustered out June 16, 1865. Brief Life History of Edwin Lathrop TOBEY: When Edwin Lathrop Tobey was born in September 1844, in Cummington, Hampshire, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Isaac L Tobey, was 27 and his mother, Lovina Griswold, was 31. He married Charlotte Ann Burnham on 25 November 1868, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Whately, Franklin, Massachusetts, United States in 1865 and Yount, Perry, Missouri, United States in 1910. He died on 16 March 1914, in Napa, California, United States, at the age of 69, and was buried in Yountville, Napa, California, United States.
