This aluminum mess kit was produced by Paul Schulze & Co., Lübeck, in 1963 for the West German Bundeswehr. Assembled in three nesting sections, it includes an oval main pot, a lid that doubles as a plate, and an insert. The exterior bears the manufacturer's marks 'PSL' and the year '63' clearly stamped on the handle attachments. The dark green coating is consistent with post-war Bundeswehr field equipment, and the nested design reflects the practical needs of soldiers in the field during the Cold War era. Some minor signs of use are visible, including surface scuffs. This mess kit demonstrates West German military logistics and postwar industrial production. The kit is in excellent condition with the paint nearly 100% intact, and no signs of food residue or campfire soot. It measures 6.5 x 8 inches. SW
