An oil on canvas painting by Alexander Nelke depicting a rural farm landscape. The composition centers on red barns and a silo within a green valley under hazy mountains. Signed A. NELKE in red at the lower right. The work is presented ina carved silver-toned wood frame with a wide linen liner. 30 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches.The canvas and paint surface remain in good, stable condition. The ornate frame exhibits minor age-appropriate wear to the silvered finish. Light staining is present on the linen liner as expected with age.
