Antique Victorian-era black mourning ensemble featuring a full-length high-neck dress with elaborate floral lace appliqué, pleated detailing and decorative trim. Group also includes two pairs of period-style black leather boots, beaded and lace capelet, black gloves, beaded purses, drawstring reticule, parasol and additional beaded accessories. Garments and accessories show age-related wear consistent with antique textiles. Age, maker and materials have not been independently verified. Owner of the dress said, "This dress is over 100 years old."
