Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) Portrait of a Woman. After the original drawing dated 2 May 1943 Color lithograph from Picasso Dessins by Paul Eluard. Published by Les Editions Braun & Cie., Paris, 1952. Printed in France on heavy wove paper with full deckled edges. Bears the printed Picasso signature lower right. The composition reproduces Picasso's portrait dated 2 Mai 43, rendered in expressive black and gray brushwork characteristic of his wartime portrait studies. From a complete Picasso Dessins portfolio from a single private collection. Offered individually. Condition: Very good overall. Clean sheet with full margins, deckled edges, and no significant condition issues observed. Watermark visible under transmitted light, consistent with this Braun edition. Measures 9.5" x 12.25" Cover page and back provided for reference only, they are not included in the sale.
