Published by Maeght, Zurich. A striking modernist composition. Signed lower right. Excellent condition. Measures 9.25" x 12.5", (1) Henri Matisse, Derriere le Miroir (Clarte de Matisse) lithographic cover with elegant continuous-line portrait and accompanying text celebrating Matisse’s legacy. Minimalist and refined, capturing the artist’s iconic line drawing style. Dated 1951. Excellent condition. Measures 11" x 15", and (1) Alexander Calder, Derriere le Miroir (1983). Color lithograph cover featuring bold geometric abstraction in red, black, yellow, and orange. Published by Maeght, Paris, 1983. A vibrant example of Calder’s playful modernist aesthetic. Good condition paper has ripples. Measures 11" x 15".
