Cobalt blue rectangular base coffin shape poison bottle. Embossed POISON on the front. Embossed with hobnails surrouding POISON and hobnails on both side panels. The reverse is plain for a label. Retains the original Coffin shaped label for Corrosive Mercuric Chloride Norwich Pharmacal Co, Norwich, New York. Machine made base. Machine made lip. Circa 1910. Condition is attic found with no damage to the bottle. There are a couple small losses to the edge of the label and there is some staining and fading to the label. Measures approximately 1 3/8 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches tall.
