Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, West Virginia, made this beautiful golden yellow amber engraved "cut to clear" pitcher circa 1890s. The glass glows green under a black light due to uranium or manganese content. The design is known as the EAPG early american pressed glass pattern "Hexagon Block". The Hobbs company later merged with U.S. Glass. We see no chips cracks or repairs.
