BUYER MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK & SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT W/ GUN DEALER TO PICK UP ITEM, NOTE FROM GUN DEALER: Stevens Model 11 .22 caliber LR single shot rifle. Stevens Junior Model 11 is a vintage, single-shot .22 rimfire rifle produced by the J. Stevens Arms Company in the early 20th century. It's a Single-shot, rolling block "boy's rifle". This rifle is early bearing the patent date of 1907. I believe that the stock was refinished but it was nicely done and there are no cracks or breaks in the stock which is quite unusual. The barrel is 20 inches long and has a pretty nice bore which is also quite unusual as the boys shot the heck out of these small rifles! The markings on the barrel of this firearm are quite clear. The finish on the barrel is mottled indicating that someone may have tried putting some perma blu on it some time but it looks ok. The block works fine as does the hammer. This is a pretty nice little rifle that may have had some restoration done to it. Nice! No s/n.
