Patent Applied For 12 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun with Wire Twist Barrels and External hammers. Model 225. J. Stevens Model 225 is an external-hammer, double-barrel shotgun manufactured by the J. Stevens A&T Co. (J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company) roughly between 1906 and 1910. Action works fine. Replaced screw in reverse hammer. Stocks have been re-shellaced. No finish left on metal. Barrel painted brown on outside with some pitting inside. Has the original buttplate. Serial number 53510.
