Antique micromosaic brooch set in an unmarked 14k gold frame, with a black onyx base inlaid with glass tesserae in the style of Italian artist Gioacchino Barberi (1783-1857). The brooch measures 11/16" x 1 7/16" and features a functioning pin back. N ote a visible crack in the onyx.
