This auction lot features an exceptional antique Victorian quarter sawn golden oak washstand commode cabinet. The structural design features a spacious rectangular top deck panel bordered by an elevated back splash gallery rail showcasing a beautiful row of deep machine-carved bullseye roundel motifs and supported by two solid wood side brackets. The lower cabinet layout incorporates one full-width upper storage drawer, two smaller stacked left-hand utility drawers, and one right-hand storage compartment door fitted with its original turned wood knob pull. The drawer faces and door panel are adorned with elegant incised floral leaf carvings, flanked by geometric diamond-pattern corner stiles. Each drawer comes outfitted with its original, highly ornate cast brass drop bail handle pulls displaying a textured sunburst medallion backplate. The solid wood structure exhibits an exceptionally well-preserved condition with tight joinery, a rich natural grain pattern under a warm honey stain, and only minor superficial scuffs from long-term residential protection. This historic furniture piece provides an excellent storage addition for classic bedroom layouts, hallway accents, or rustic farmhouse property staging. Please review all the provided front perspective, top deck, and angled profile photographs to carefully evaluate the structural completeness, hardware integrity, and precise cosmetic condition of this washstand. This lot is for pick up only at 301 E. Park St. REAR Elizabethtown PA 17022 on Wednesday, 9/16 from 10 to 4 PM. Please call or text 717-286-8282 to schedule appointment.
