Official Rawlings Charles S. Feeney National League baseball signed by Sam Jethroe, the 1950 National League Rookie of the Year and former Boston Braves star. Nicknamed "The Jet" for his exceptional speed, Jethroe was one of baseball's pioneering African American players and a standout base stealer during his Major League career. The signature appears prominently on the side panel of the baseball, which is housed in a protective display holder. A desirable collectible honoring one of baseball's early trailblazers.
