Norman Rockwell 'The Ship Builder' Limited Edition

A round, ceramic collector's plate featuring the artwork 'The Ship Builder' by Norman Rockwell. The artwork depicts a man with a pipe, wearing a vest and shirt, engaged in building a model ship, with a red parrot perched on his shoulder. The front of the plate has 'Norman Rockwell' printed at the bottom. The reverse side of the plate is off-white and features the 'EDWIN M. KNOWLES' logo. Text on the back states 'PLATE NUMBER 8421G' and describes the item as 'OF THE ONLY LIMITED EDITION OF "THE SHIP BUILDER" BY NORMAN ROCKWELL. FOURTH IN THE ROCKWELL HERITAGE COLLECTION. MADE IN A LIMITED EDITION WHICH ARTIST'S CLOSED IN 1980 BY KNOWLES AND CERTIFIED AS A "TRUE ROCKWELL CLASSIC" BY THE ROCKWELL SOCIETY OF AMERICA.' A circular logo for The Rockwell Society of America is also visible, along with ' COSA 1980' and a printed 'Norman Rockwell' signature below the copyright. The plate appears to be in excellent condition with no visible damage, chips, or cracks.
