Fine 35-inch brass grain probe used to sample grain to determine moisture content. We have seen much larger ones for probing trucks, rail cars and barges, this one is considerably smaller that any of those, and we have not figured out what specific cargos it was used to probe. From the late David & Alice Wingo collection.
