Fine 8-inch brass bound Stratton Brothers-type level likely made by the late Richard Kelly Clore of New Castle, Indiana. R Kelly was a well known level restorer who taught himself how to make perfect replica brass-bound levels like Stratton Brothers and later Goodell-Pratt and Millers Falls made. The man we are selling this one for said he got it in one of our sales several years ago and it was described at an unsigned clone by Clore. This one is complete and fine.
