ca. 1830-1850; Attributed to Pennsylvania carver known as "The Romantic Traditionalist" is sunflower with fine sprig and floret carved band, turned softwood with flattened knob handle, center-point flower center with variegation and compass layout of 16 flower petals with fine carved fern frond and round florets border; 3 1/2"dia. X 1 1/2"; Condition: noted hole drill through center of handle into print face. Excellent old patina.
