ca. 1880's; Carved Whippet dog handled gent's walking stick in a polished horned wood (possible gorse bush stem) with brass collar and steel tip. The stick has a carved bone-ivory whippet dog grip featuring the head with long pointed nose, folded ears, raised eyebrows and glass bead eyes. The handle has stained accents and fine silver (sterling?) mount with engraved initial "G.I." possible "change of ownership" dates including: 1886, 1909, 1938, & 1968; 33 1/4" L.; Condition: good, no noted damage
