ca. 1987; Signed, "James J. Neyeste, Seven Valleys, Pa.”, hand molded and decorative glazed reclining cat on oval plateau base. The long molded reclining cat has right faced raised head, curled tail and Albany slip glaze. The plateau has a floral incised design and colorful "Shenandoah-Valley" type mottled glaze.; 8 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 4 7/8"; Condition: Firing flaw to rear of oval plateau base, otherwise very good. A note on bottom reads "Only cat ever made like this."
