Maker's label on lid "XXth Century No 50 Fibre Series Bottle Cooler". Made by Cordney and Hayes, New York and patented August 11th, 1908. Pressed fibre cooler with stoneware insert which is also marked. Matching iron base with glass ball and claw feet. Bottle marked Great Bear Spring Company. Provenance: The collection of Russell and Darlene Snyder. 17"H x 14"D Very good condition with scattered wear. Display tag states this is from the Eagle Hotel in Emaus, PA.
