Tin lithographed, lift lid with handle, body marked on lid and front. Patent date 1916. Original tumbler inside. The owner would place this on their gas or oil cook stove, fill it with water, place the clothes in the tumbler and as the water heated, they would use the crank on the side to toss the clothes. Provenance: The collection of Russell and Darlene Snyder. 14"H x 27"W x 14"D Expected wear to litho, good overall condition.
