An unusual salt glazed stoneware storage or "tomato" jar with a large bold cobalt flourish of a fern or feather on one side and a cobalt "1/2 g" (gal) on the other, with a misshapen lip and several lumps throughout the body, few minor rim chips, Ontario, c1860-1870, possibly Aultsville Pottery, 9"H.
