The 1925 Peace Dollar is a classic piece of American history, featuring a portrait of Liberty on the obverse and a bald eagle resting on a rock with the word “PEACE” on the reverse. The design was created by Anthony de Francisci and commemorates the peace achieved following World War I. The Peace Dollar was introduced in 1921 and struck through 1935, making it the final circulating silver dollar series produced by the United States before the modern era. Like other Peace Dollars, the 1925 issue is composed of 90% silver and contains approximately .7734 Troy Ounce of pure silver. 90% Silver • .7734 Troy Oz Silver • 1925 • Peace Dollar
