Two Motörhead and Lemmy Kilmister Music Posters

This lot features two officially licensed commercial posters celebrating the heavy metal band Motörhead and its iconic founder, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister. The first poster, measuring 18 x 24 inches, commemorates the band's 40th anniversaryfrom 1977 to 2017. It features the signature War-Pig mascot in white on a black field, with the band name printed vertically in a red gothic font. The second poster measures 24 x 36 inches and serves as a memorial tribute to LemmyKilmister (1945–2015). The black and white design features a photograph by Robert John showing the musician pointing toward the viewer, framed by band iconography including the Iron Cross and Ace of Spades. The bottom left corner of thisposter bears a printed logo of a scorpion and text identifying it as item #3268 from Scorpio Posters LLC in Marlboro, New Jersey. The print also includes a copyright notice dated 2016 for Ian F. Kilmister, noting it was produced underBoth posters have been previously enjoyed and show signs of handling consistent with their use. The Lemmy memorial poster has small pinholes at each of the four corners from past display (photo 2). Both items exhibit moderate wear.
