Two Mastodon Limited Edition Concert Posters

This lot features two limited-edition screen-printed concert posters for the American heavy metal band Mastodon. The first poster commemorates the April 26, 2012, performance at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles,California. The design is rendered in a black and white engraving style, featuring a central figure of a three-eyed bearded man within a decorative border of skulls, candles, and a bleeding heart. The bottom margin includes the venue nameand date information above an illustration of a coffin. The second poster is for the June 30, 2013, concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. The psychedelic design features multiple multi-eyed creatures influorescent pink, green, and blue against a black background. The lower margin bears a pencil-written signature reading SKINNER and is hand-numbered 210/225. Both posters are printed on heavy black paper stock. Both posters measure 18 x 24These posters are in lovely overall condition and present very well. Small pinholes are visible at the four corners of each print from previous mounting (photo 1). The paper remains flat with no significant creases, tears, or edge wear.
