A collection of three original promotional and retail posters for the Canadian rock band Rush, dating from the mid-to-late 1980s. The lot includes a Hold Your Fire 1987-88 tour poster featuring a vibrant red background and three liveperformance photographs of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart. This poster contains printed credits for 1987 Anthem Entertainment and photographer Andrew Macnaughtan. Also included is a large-format poster featuring the surrealistalbum cover art for the 1984 release Grace Under Pressure, originally created by artist Hugh Syme, with vertical text for the band and album title. The third item is a technical promotional poster for Zildjian Cymbals featuring Neil Peartwith his candy-apple red Tama drum kit. This poster includes a detailed diagram titled Neil Peart's Set-Up with a coded inventory of eighteen cymbals including New Beat Hi Hats, Ping Rides, and a Turkish Gong. Hold Your Fire poster: 22 1/4This group of posters retains a wonderful vintage presence. The Hold Your Fire poster is in nice overall condition, showing only light edge wear and minor surface scuffs from age. The Grace Under Pressure poster shows its history with a two-inch tear.
