This is a group of 26 vintage cardboard CD longboxes, an obsolete retail packaging format used in the United States from the mid-1980s until 1993. The collection focuses primarily on hard rock, heavy metal, and pop artists from the late1970s through the early 1990s. Included in this lot are boxes for Badlands (Voodoo Highway, 7 82251-2), Dream Theater (Images and Words, 792148-2), Extreme (III Sides to Every Story, 31454 0027 2), Guns N Roses (Use Your Illusion I,GEFD-24415 and Use Your Illusion II, GEFD-24420), Journey (Captured, CGK 37016; Infinity, CK 34912; and Raised on Radio, CK 39936), Mariah Carey (Emotions, 47980 and MTV Unplugged EP, 52758), Motley Crue (Decade of Decadence 81-91, 961204-2), Prince and the Revolution (Around the World in a Day, 25286-2), Queen (A Day At The Races, HR-61035-2 and Innuendo, HR-61020-2), Queensryche (Empire, CDP 7 92806 2), RTZ (Return To Zero, 9 24422-2), Saigon Kick (The Lizard, 7This collection of longboxes presents very well overall, maintaining vivid colors and clear graphics across the group.
