This collection features a violin of unknown origin, bearing a likely false interior label stating "Nicholas Amatus facet in Cromona 1665." The violin presents with a warm varnish finish and comes in a hardshell case showing considerable wear from e and use. Included are three bows: one is a Carl Herman, impressed on the stick above the frog, measuring 29 1/4 inches with an octagonal stick, nickel silver plating, and abalone slide; a smaller bow at 26 1/4 inches; and a third at 28 1/2 inches, all pictured for reference. Minor components such as extra bridges and strings are also part of the lot. See photos for comprehensive details.
