Large jug stamped "New York Stoneware Co Fort Edward, NY". Freehand-decorated bird on floral stem. 16"H Staining and some frying to cobalt. 2" line at base. Long running line in the handle done in the making which culminates in several lines extending down to the base of the top of the handle. These lines also appear to have been done in the making as the jug rings solid.
