Very nice grouping of items found in a local estate. A private printed booklet done by Henry Flick of Company E 1st Reserves/30th Pennsylvania in January 1925. 21 pps with a photo of him in his GAR hat and a short story of each battle he was in including Gettysburg. He mentions seeing a star in the sky before the 1st day which he took as an omen and when he heard Reynolds had been killed in action, he took that as the meaning behind the star. Incredibly rare and possibly the only copy known to exist. Flick's Corps Badges and escutcheon were sold 5 years ago at was then Cowan's in Cincinnati. Together with an excellent engraved piece of grape shot on a wood stand. Grape shot engraved "Gettysburg 1863" with a floral design. The underside of stand signed in ink "Gettysburg Aug 1874". Four relic bullets and grape shot. Ruby glass cup painted "Souvenir of Gettysburg, 1863". Seven items total. Booklet 5"H x 3 1/2"W Booklet with area of foxing on cover. Rest are good.
