From a house in Manheim Township is this Federal period leather fire bucket with original Windsor green paint and leather handle. Hand-painted on front "O CO No.4" in mustard and red. Proximity to where this was found could mean the "O" stands for the little crossroads area of Oregon which was founded in 1846. 18"H Drying and cracking to the leather. Under blacklight, no touchups to the paint. The bucket is filthy and would benefit from a professional cleaning or dusting.
