10 3/4" sgraffito plate featuring a man and woman dancing at their wedding and patterned after an original plate in the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Signed Dorothy E. Long Wayne, Chester Co, Pa April 1978. John Bell-type lion with illegible signature on belly. Plate, 10 3/4"D Plate is very good. Lion has a break in the tail with accompanying loss to glaze.
