Charming collection of four vintage flocked-velvet lady bells, dating approximately to the 1960s–1970s. Two of the bells are marked “Deville", while the other two are similar in construction and style and are believed to also be Deville pieces. Each approximately 5.5" tall figural bell features hand-painted porcelain with an elegant lady design and a distinctive flocked, velvet-textured dress. The soft flocked surfaces give the gowns a rich velvety appearance and add wonderful dimension to these unusual mid-century decorative bells. The group features different colors and styling, making the four especially attractive when displayed together. The marked examples were made in Taiwan, while pieces of this style may also have been produced in Japan. These vintage lady bells make a wonderful addition to a collection of Deville Collection figurines, flocked porcelain, velvet lady bells, vintage figural bells, 1960s and 1970s décor, hand-painted porcelain figurines, mid-century collectibles, and vintage Asian-made decorative ceramics. All four are in good vintage condition. A couple of the bells have coloration/staining inside as shown, and one shows some wear to the velvet flocking along the bottom edge. Please review the photographs closely for individual markings and condition. Approx. 5.5" tall each. See photos for more details.
