CGC 1.5 Justice League Of America #1 1960 DC Comic

This landmark issue launches the Justice League in its first self-titled ongoing series following the team’s introduction in The Brave and the Bold #28. The issue features the origin and first appearance of Despero, one of the Justice League’s most enduring villains, in the story "The World of No Return!" Written by Gardner Fox, with interior art by Mike Sekowsky and Bernard Sachs and a striking Murphy Anderson cover, the story pits the League against Despero in a deadly contest that threatens both the heroes and the inhabitants of his home dimension, Kalanor.
