Axe stamped "I D Schmidt" and partial word that ends with "alormann". There was an Isaac Dewille Schmidt living in the 19th century in Strausstown, Berks County, Pa, though it's quite possible this axe is Continental. 24"L Grease stains, surface rust and wear.
