(10) 1952-P Franklin Half Dollars Graded as Brilliant Uncirculated Franklin Half Dollars were minted from 1948 to 1963 at all three United States Mints, San Francisco, Denver and Philadelphia. All struck in 90% Silver. Obverse: Bust of Benjamin Franklin with "Liberty" and "In God We Trust" with the date placed below the chin on the left side. Reverse: Liberty Bell Image with "United States of America, Half Dollar and the D or S Mint would appear above the liberty bell just below the "E" in states. A beautiful series that is fairly easy to make a complete set. Fun fact about Franklin Half Dollars: At the time of issue, the design was criticized by many, perhaps because it is rather plain in comparison to the “classic” Liberty Walking style. However, in recent years Franklin half dollars have emerged as popular pieces, and today are highly desired by numismatists. Makes a great investment or perfect gift for your favorite Numismatist.
