This 1960s men's Black Watch plaid dressing gown robe was retailed by Tremayne & Scott of Flint, Michigan and styled by Enro. Constructed of Viyella Parcura flannel, a very high end type of woven style from a blend of cotton and wool, the robe features a classic dark green, navy blue, and black tartan pattern. The garment is styled with a shawl collar, open front with matching fabric tie belt, left chest patch pocket, dual front hip patch pockets, and cuffed sleeves. Interior cloth tags include"Tremayne & Scott / FLINT, MICH. / STYLED BY Enro" and a fabric label reading "PARCURA FLANNEL / COTTON / WOOL". Condition is consistent with age and use, showing moderate sun fading/discoloration down the left sleeve and shoulder, minor surface wear, and black ink markings over the interior tags. Overall in very wearable condition. Shoulder-to-shoulder measures 18", pit-to-pit measures 20-22" due to crossover, overall length from collar to hem is 47", and sleeve length is 24". This example oftimeless Black Watch tartan in a classic Viyella flannel weave is offers great men's preppy vintage loungewear style and display appeal.
