Vtg 70s Royal Stewart Plaid Wool Palazzo Pants

Dating to circa the 1970s, these high-waisted wide-leg palazzo pants are constructed of a wool or wool-blend weave in a vibrant Royal Stewart tartan plaid. Designed with dramatic, sweeping full-cut legs, the trousers feature a fitted waistband with front pleating, a red nylon zipper, and a two-button waistband closure. No maker label is present as they were hand tailored. Measures 13 in waist laid flat (26 in total waist) and 40 in overall length. Condition is consistent with age and moderatewear, displaying a small hole near the upper right hip seam as detailed in the photos. The plaid fabric retains bright coloration throughout, and the zipper and waistband buttons remain functional.
