Silverplate Trivet Plate Lot. Vintage pierced metal trivet lot featuring one marked Universal Landers, Frary & Clark folding round trivet and one smaller unmarked pierced silverplate trivet or decorative plate. The larger piece has the original folding construction on the back and is clearly stamped "UNIVERSAL / LANDERS FRARY & CLARK / NEW BRITAIN CONN / U.S.A."; the smaller piece shows an ornate floral center with openwork border. Both pieces show age, surface scratches, tarnish, and finish wear, with more noticeable plate loss and discoloration on the larger trivet.
