Bridgeport Boy Scouts of America axe model 1424 manufactured between 1948 and 1960. Made in USA with US Pat 1830668 stamp. Features a one-piece steel construction with an integrated nail puller. The handle is loose. The axe head shows the manufacturer's mark, Bridgeport and includes a fleur-de-lis design indicative of scout usage
