Inscribed- (typed) Picture of Bruce Reagan with some Chechoslovakian girls in their folk Dirndle. Time is between 8-13 May (just after V.E. Day in Sucize, Cz of 1945. Under the German occupation, the people were not allowed to wear such clothing (aneffort to dispel the current culture) so with the one week of freedom, from the known soon to be Soviet occupiers, the population pulled out these native dresses and let them be seen and enjoyed. In handwriting- My dad brought me the costume in the middle. The family gave it to him out of gratitude to U.S. for liberated country. From the collection of Lieutenant Colonel Bruce W. Reagan, Corps of Engineers, 150th Engineer Combat Battalion, United States Army.
