The painted surface presents extensive gestural application with overlapping drips, splashes, and linear passages of black, red, green, gray, and white. Areas of heavier pigment and irregular texture are visible throughout and contribute to the expressive character of the composition. The reverse bears a label reading “BETTY PARSON GALLERY, 15 EAST 57th St. N.Y.C.” and referencing Jackson Pollock, an oil and enamel on canvas, and dimensions of approximately 31 1/4 × 47 inches. Visual Description: A large horizontal abstract composition constructed through an intricate network of poured, dripped, and splattered pigment across a light ground. Strong black passages establish the primary structure, interwoven with vivid red and green strokes and lighter gray linear elements.
