c. Early 1940's Fantasy Artist #1 Nils H. Frome 11" X 8.5" (printed by Sam Moskowitz "Nils Frome, an early Canadian fan, edited SupraMundane Stories, the first Canadian genzine, and possibly the country’s first fanzine, in the late 1930s . An artist, he contributed illos to many American fanzines (sometimes under his own name and sometimes under the penname Herkanos), via Sam Moskowitz, who acted as his U.S. agent." Fanzine includes biography about Frome, as well as a reproduction of Frome's artistic work on backside as pictured. In very nice condition, small closed tears along the edges, some fading of the lettering of the title and bottom left but is still legible
