Phoenix Arms HP22 .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Phoenix Arms HP22 semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .22 LR and represents one of the company’s familiar compact rimfire handgun designs. Serial number 4188774, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The pistol utilizes a compact metal frame with grip panels paired with a steel slide and straightforward blowback-style action. No magazine is included. The slide is currently locked and the pistol needs work before it can operate properly. It should be professionally inspected and repaired prior to use. Phoenix Arms developed the HP22 as an economical small-frame rimfire pistol intended for recreational shooting and compact-handgun enthusiasts. Its short barrel and traditional styling give the firearm a distinctly classic pocket-pistol appearance. With its shiny bore and project status, this example offers an interesting repair opportunity for the mechanically inclined buyer. Please see photos.
