Taurus Model 94 .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Taurus Model 94 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .22 LR and features a traditional small-frame rimfire revolver configuration. Serial number KH72174, this example features an approximately 4" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good cosmetic condition overall. The revolver utilizes a metal frame, exposed hammer, swing-out cylinder, and traditional grip arrangement. Mechanically, however, the cylinder does not lock and the trigger is currently locked, leaving the revolver in need of repair before it can operate properly. Professional inspection and repair are recommended prior to use. Taurus offered the Model 94 as a practical rimfire revolver combining traditional DA/SA operation with the economical .22 LR cartridge. Its configuration made it useful as a recreational and training revolver. This example retains a shiny bore but should be considered a repair project due to the cylinder and trigger issues.
